Med Spa Marketing

Studio Smirk does marketing for independent US med spas. We help you get more client calls and bookings from Google. We write treatment pages, run your Google listing and reviews, build a website that books from a phone and run Google Ads. We also work to get you into ChatGPT answers.

Your calendar has gaps, and another spa nearby shows up first when someone searches "lip filler near me." The audit shows where new clients pick another spa, and what to fix first.

What we do for each kind of new client

Someone booking a touch-up decides fast. Someone choosing a first filler or a laser series takes longer. Both compare spas on a phone before they book.

  1. Injectables

They search "Botox near me" or "lip filler cost." Then they compare the price per unit or per syringe, reviews that name the injector, and before-and-after photos.

What we do: We write a page for each treatment, with your prices as you quote them, the injector who does it and a booking button. If you supply before-and-after photos with the client’s consent, they go on the page too.

  2. Lasers, skin and body

Before they book a series, they look up how many sessions it takes, the downtime, how long results last and the total cost. They book a consult with the spa whose website answered those questions.

What we do: We write a page for each treatment you want more of, answering what clients look up before they book.

  3. New to the area

They search "med spa near me" and choose on the map by rating, review count, photos and hours.

What we do: We keep your Google listing current and make your name, address and phone match everywhere. We also set up a review request after every visit, sent from your booking software or by your front desk.

  4. Clients who ask ChatGPT

Google shows an AI answer above many searches, and some clients ask ChatGPT which spa to trust. If the answer names another spa, they never reach your site.

What we do: Every plan fixes what stops ChatGPT and Google’s AI from reading your website. On Signature, we also check each month whether they name you. The AI search check shows what they say about your spa today.

What we don’t do 03 / 07

Do you run Instagram ads?

No. We only run Google Ads. We don’t run Facebook or Instagram ads.

We also don’t make photos and videos. Instagram content is an add-on, $450 a month: we plan a monthly calendar and make 12 posts, and once you approve the calendar, we post them for you. Memberships, packages and rebooking stay with your team and the software you use now. If most of your new clients find you on Instagram, an agency that runs Instagram ads is a better fit.

Treatment pages 04 / 07

What goes on a treatment page?

The answers a client would otherwise call to ask: the price, who it’s right for, the downtime, how long results last and who does it.

Each page names the injector or provider and their credentials. It ends with a booking button for that treatment. We write pages for medical weight loss and other medical treatments carefully, and your medical director can review them. You approve pages at the start, and later only if you want to. Our med spa marketing guide lists what each treatment page needs.

Our work so far

Our results so far are for two dental practices in Bangalore, India, with live sites and dated figures.

The work for a med spa is the same: treatment pages, your Google listing and reviews, and a website that books from a phone. We don’t have a med spa client yet.

FAQ 07 / 07

Med spa marketing questions

How do med spas get more clients?

Show up on Google Maps when someone nearby searches for a treatment. Then have reviews that name your injectors, a page that answers price and downtime, and booking that works on a phone.

How much does med spa marketing cost?

Our Signature plan fits most med spas: $1,800 a month per location, month to month, with no setup fee. Google Ads is an add-on, at $900 a month. We don’t run Meta or Instagram ads. The practice audit costs nothing.

Can you advertise Botox and fillers on Google?

Yes, within Google’s rules. Google limits ads that name prescription drugs such as Botox, some procedures and before-and-after images. Some ads need certification first. We build campaigns inside those rules and tell you before launch if an ad can’t run the way you want.

Do you work with our booking software?

Yes. Booking stays in the software you use now, such as Boulevard, Zenoti, Vagaro or Mangomint. We link to it, and on a site we build, every page reaches it in one tap.

We have several locations. How does pricing work?

The plan covers your first location. Each extra location adds $900 a month, because each one has its own Google listing, reviews and nearby competitors. Each location gets its own page, counted in your plan’s monthly pages.

How do you handle HIPAA and patient information?

Patient information stays in your own systems: forms and booking are set up in your accounts. If our work ever needs to touch patient information, we sign a business associate agreement (BAA) with you first.
