What each case measures:

  • The Tooth Corner: where the site ranks for root canal and treatment cost searches, how often Google showed it and how many people clicked, and where the practice shows up on Google Maps.
  • Tooth District: where the site ranks on Google for treatment searches near the practice, compared with one search we ran before the site launched.
  • Dr. Anjali: no figures yet.

The Tooth Corner (dental practice, Bellandur)

✓ Client work

Bellandur, Bangalore, India · An owner-run dental practice led by an endodontist.

Doctor:
Dr. Shabnam, MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
Strategist:
Aditya Kaushal
  • #2 on Google Maps for root canal searches in Bellandur. Checked Aug 19, 2026 · Google Maps
  • 11 average spot on Google for our root canal cost page, Sep 6 to Oct 3, 2026, up from 86 in the site’s first 28 days (Jul 18 to Aug 14). Checked Oct 5, 2026 · Google Search Console
  • 107 different cost questions where the site was on Google’s first page on average, Sep 6 to Oct 3, 2026, up from 8 in its first 28 days. Checked Oct 5, 2026 · Google Search Console
Where they started:
The website had gone offline, because its web address pointed to a server that no longer existed. The Google Business Profile had been claimed and then left alone. And there was no way to see where patient inquiries came from.
What we did:
We rebuilt the site so it loads fast and books from a phone. Then we wrote a page for each treatment and its cost, fifteen articles that answer what patients search before they call, and a page for each nearby neighborhood. We also filled out the Google listing and set up analytics in the practice’s own accounts.
Where it landed:
In September, Google showed the site about six times as often as in its first month. Clicks from Google rose from 62 to 106. Most of that growth came from the articles, which brought 50 of the 106 clicks, from readers across India and near Bellandur. The treatment and cost pages now show up much higher. The root canal cost page moved from an average spot of 86 on Google to 11. The site now shows up on Google’s first page for 107 different cost questions, up from 8. Most of the Google rating was earned before we started, so we list it only as background.

Tooth District (dental practice, Koramangala)

✓ Client work

Koramangala, Bangalore, India · A multispecialty dental practice and implant center in Koramangala 4th Block, led by an endodontist.

Doctor:
Dr. Chaitanya K, BDS, MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics
Strategist:
Aditya Kaushal
  • Before: about 47th in a live search at our pre-launch Sep 2026 audit
7.1 average spot on Google (page one) for "root canal treatment in Koramangala", Sep 21 to Oct 3, 2026. Checked Oct 5, 2026 · Google Search Console
  • Before: about 44th in the same live search
13.7 average spot on Google for "dentist in koramangala", Sep 21 to Oct 3, 2026. Checked Oct 5, 2026 · Google Search Console
  • 65 searches without the practice’s name where the site was on Google’s first page on average, Sep 21 to Oct 3, 2026. Checked Oct 5, 2026 · Google Search Console
Where they started:
The practice had strong credentials: an MDS endodontist and BDS gold medalist who treats every patient herself. It had many five-star Google reviews. But it had no website to show any of that to patients. People searching for a dentist in Koramangala saw the big chains first, and the reviews were only on the Google listing. That listing was already getting more views every month before our listing work began: 243 in May and 1,449 in August. What the practice needed was a website that showed those people the doctor and the treatments.
What we did:
We built a new website. Every treatment has its own page, sorted into three plain groups. The doctor’s credentials are on the first screen, and her Google reviews are quoted word for word. The site answers the questions patients ask before they come in, and every screen has call and message buttons. All of it is set up in the practice’s own name.
Where it landed:
In its second to fourth week live, the site was on Google’s first page on average for 65 searches that don’t use the practice’s name. Its average spots on Google in Koramangala: clear aligners 4.9, tooth whitening 5.3, All-on-4 implants 6.2 and root canal treatment 7.1. Before launch, one search we ran for our audit found it about 47th for root canal treatment and about 44th for "dentist in Koramangala". These are two kinds of number: the first is one search on one day, the later ones are averages over 13 days. These searches are still small, so there is no patient number yet. The clinic asks for and answers its own reviews, so we list the rating only as background.

Dr. Anjali (functional medicine, Delhi)

✓ Client work

Delhi, India · An independent doctor running a functional medicine practice.

Strategist:
Aditya Kaushal
Where they started:
Patients came mostly by word of mouth. The site had little that answered the questions patients type into Google, and no Search Console to show which searches it was missing.
What we did:
We built her site from scratch, around the questions patients search before they book. We set up Google Search Console in her name, so she can see which searches bring people to her site. We also replaced the contact form with a few short questions.
Where it landed:
No figures are published for this case. Dr. Anjali is no longer a client, so none will be added here. Search Console stays in her name.

In their own words

Our clients on working with us

Dr. Shabnam, The Tooth Corner

Our website had stopped working and I didn’t have time to deal with it. Studio Smirk rebuilt it, sorted out our Google listing and wrote patient guides in my name that answer what people search before they call. Now when someone near us searches for a root canal, we show up near the top. One of my juniors is opening a clinic, and I’m sending them to Aditya.

Dr. Chaitanya K, Tooth District

Our patients were happy, but online the big chains came up first. Studio Smirk gave every treatment its own page and put my training on the first screen. Three weeks after launch we were on Google’s first page for root canal treatment in Koramangala. Now root canal patients call us before they come in; before, it was mostly walk-ins. Aditya and his team answer fast, and they tell me plainly what is working and what isn’t yet.

How we publish proof

We follow three rules for every case we publish.

  1. Named and live.Every case names the practice, with its permission, and links to the live site we built. Where the client agreed, the site’s footer credit shows who built it.

  2. Dated and sourced.Every figure shows when we checked it and where it comes from: Google Search Console, Google Maps or the Google listing. We check them all again every three months. If we can’t confirm a figure, we take it off the page.

  3. Starting figures only with their own date and source.Tooth District’s come from a live search at our audit, before its new site launched. The Tooth Corner’s old site was offline and nothing was recorded on it, so its comparison starts at the new site’s first month in Search Console. Where neither exists, no starting figure is shown.

What every client owns is written into the terms, the same for every plan.

FAQ 03 / 03

Questions about our work

Are these real clients?

Yes. The Tooth Corner and Tooth District, dental practices in Bangalore, India, and Dr. Anjali Hooda, a functional medicine doctor in Delhi, India, are named with their permission. Each case links to the live site we built.

Who did the work on these cases?

Aditya Kaushal, founder and strategist at Studio Smirk, planned and did the work on all three with a small team. If you hire us, he is the person you talk to.

Why is your named work in India?

Because the studio is in Bangalore, and that is where we started. How we work with US practices, from call hours to invoicing, is on our About page.

Why don’t the figures show new patients?

Neither practice has published patient or call counts, and we print a figure only with a date and a source. The figures shown come from Google’s own tools: rankings, and how often the site was seen and clicked.

Will my practice be shown like this?

Only if you agree. We ask before we name a client or publish a result, and your case would follow the same three rules.
