Marketing for Plastic Surgeons
Studio Smirk helps plastic surgeons who own independent US practices get more consult requests from Google. We write procedure pages, build before-and-after galleries and help you get reviews on Google and RealSelf. We also run Google Ads and fix what stops ChatGPT from reading your website.
Prices on this site · Month to month · You own your accounts
Before they ask for a consult, patients compare surgeons on Google and RealSelf, and some ask ChatGPT. The audit shows where they pick another surgeon, and what to fix first.

What patients check before they book a consult
Patients research online for weeks or months before they call. They book a consult with the surgeon whose website answered their questions.
The procedure
They search "rhinoplasty cost," "tummy tuck recovery" or "breast augmentation near me" and read everything.
What we do: We write a page for each procedure you want more of, answering what patients look up before they book. You can review each page before it goes live.
The surgeon
They check the surgeon’s board certification, training and years in practice.
What we do: We put your credentials on every procedure page and write a page for each surgeon.
Before-and-after photos
They look for before-and-after photos of people like them.
What we do: We build a gallery for each procedure from photos you supply, with each patient’s consent.
The reviews
They read your Google and RealSelf reviews closely, to see what the consult and the recovery were like.
What we do: We set up a review request for every patient, sent from your own software or by your patient coordinator. On the Signature plan, we also manage your reviews on Google, RealSelf, Yelp and Healthgrades.
ChatGPT and AI answers
Some patients ask ChatGPT for surgeons in their city. If the answer names someone else, they never reach your site.
What we do: On every plan, we fix what stops ChatGPT from reading your procedure pages. On Signature, we also check each month whether it names you. The AI search check shows what it says about you today.
Consult requests and your patient coordinator
Your patient coordinator answers each request. A patient who waits until the next day may book with another surgeon.
On the Signature plan, we check how fast your team answers consult requests and how patients are followed up. Google Ads is an add-on. Ads reach patients searching for a procedure today, while your procedure pages take months to show up higher on Google.
Do you run Instagram ads?
No. We only run Google Ads, not Meta or Instagram ads, and we don’t take photos or video. Instagram content is an add-on, $450 a month: we plan a monthly calendar and make 12 posts, and once you approve the calendar, we post them for you.
Your practice supplies the before-and-after photos, and we build them into galleries. Your pages list the payment options you offer, such as financing.
Work we can show you
Our case studies are two dental practices in Bangalore, India, with live sites and dated figures, and a site we built from scratch for Dr. Anjali Hooda, a functional-medicine doctor in Delhi.
The work for a surgeon is the same: procedure pages, before-and-after galleries, your Google listing and reviews. We haven’t worked with a plastic surgery practice yet.

Plastic surgery marketing questions
How do plastic surgeons get more consultations?
Patients pick the surgeon who answers their questions best. Put cost and recovery on your procedure pages, and show before-and-after cases and your board certification. Build strong reviews on Google and RealSelf, and make the consult request easy to send from a phone.
What should a plastic surgery procedure page include?
What the procedure involves and who it’s right for. The cost range, what changes it, and the payment options you offer. Recovery week by week, and the risks. Before-and-after cases shared with consent, and the surgeon’s training and board certification.
How do you handle before-and-after galleries?
We build them from photos your practice supplies, with the consent your practice collects from each patient. Each case shows the procedure and the time since surgery. Galleries are sorted by procedure and load fast on a phone. If our work ever needs to touch patient information, photos included, we sign a business associate agreement (BAA) with you first.
Do you manage RealSelf reviews?
Yes, on our Signature plan. We manage your reviews on Google, RealSelf, Yelp and Healthgrades. Review requests go out from your own software or from your patient coordinator. We set up the link, the wording and when to send them. Yelp doesn’t allow businesses to ask for reviews, so on Yelp we only watch and reply.
How much does plastic surgery marketing cost?
Our Signature plan fits most plastic surgeons: $1,800 a month per location, month to month, with no setup fee. Google Ads is an add-on, at $900 a month. A Signature Website is $6,990, paid once.
How do you handle HIPAA and patient information?
Patient information stays in your own systems: forms and booking are set up in your accounts. If our work ever needs to touch patient information, we sign a business associate agreement (BAA) with you first.
Our aesthetic marketing guides cover the ad rules for Botox, fillers and before-and-after photos.
